I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season.
I can't believe it's all over and it's officially 2018!
What do you all have planned for the new year?
Have you made any resolutions or chosen a
"word of the year"?
Last year I chose a word of
the year instead of making resolutions
(since we know how those usually turn out),
but decided against that as well for this year.
Sometimes unexpected things happen which make
it impossible to fulfill the expectations of just one word.
Therefore I have decided to simplify things. I came
across the following list from the wonderful ladies from
which is titled "Resolutions", but is nothing like
the typical one's you would make on
New Year's Eve, and this is how
I will be living in 2018.
Now it's time to share what you have been up to!
Please link up all your wonderful posts below!
The party normally runs from Thursday mornings
at 6 am US EST until 3 am US EST Monday.

DeleteThanks for hosting and Happy New Year. I guess my word is peace. I kind of made a decision that will give me peace of mind in the workplace. I am leaving my job in June after almost 22 years. Can't work there anymore, everyday brings me to the brink of losing my you know what. The funny thing it is isn't the kids or their parents (I am a SPED teacher) but the staff I work with that drives me to the brink on a hourly basis. I have a new job lined up but I will be taking a little bit of financial hit the first year.
ReplyDeleteThat's a perfect word for your position in life. 22 years in one job is a long time! Must feel like forever. But it's wonderful that you're confident enough to step away from those who are spreading negative energy in the workplace. It is hard to take a lower salary, but I agree that it's not worth your sanity. Good luck and I hope everything works out for you :)
DeleteI love your resolutions, the one that caught my eye "Create Everyday", this holds so many ideas and we all create something on a daily basis, Love, food, projects, etc.
ReplyDeleteWishing you the best and Happy New Year in all you do!
Thank you for hosting and giving bloggers a way to share their blogs! And for stopping by my party! :)
Hugs
Karren
Hi Karren and Happy New Year! I don't do anywhere near as much creating as I used to and I miss it! This will be a good goal for me. Thanks for stopping by each week!
