NO RULES WEEKEND BLOG PARTY #238!

What have you been up to this past week?
On Thursday we wished my daughter a
safe trip as she drove across the
country to her new home.

It was very difficult parting ways, and lots
of worrying on my part as she was driving
the entire way from New Hampshire to
Colorado.

Since then she has safely arrived, and has
begun the process of unpacking and
getting situated.

For me it is strange to have her so far away,
but it's also good to know that she is
capable of living independently.

I'm sure there are many others who can
commiserate with me on having their
children move far away. How do you
keep in contact? I plan on lots
Skype-ing!

Now I'm ready to see what you
all have to share! Are you ready to find
some new blogs to read? And perhaps
gain some new followers?

Or maybe you'd like to grow your social networks,
or make a sale or in your Etsy shop?

Then this party's for YOU!

The party normally runs from Thursday mornings
at 6 am US EST until 3 am US EST Monday.

If you follow me in any way  please leave
me a quick comment and I will follow
you back as soon as I can :)

If you'd like to display my party button on
your blog, just click on the "My Buttons"
tab on the right sidebar to access the code.

 Sharing helps direct more lovely
bloggers to the party, which in turn means
a chance of more traffic for all of us!

Let's party!

    1. It is hard, but I will adjust. I guess it's a good thing I have my three year old who keeps me so busy that I don't have much down time to dwell on it. Thank you for stopping by!

  13. I remember those days when my children went off. it is so difficult. I think I always knew that mine would not stay in the area and they didn't. I am in Florida and my son is in Vermont and my daughter was in California. Can't get too much father away. A year ago, my daughter moved to central Florida which is only 4 hours away.
She will do well and so will you.
    Hugs,
    Bev

    1. Oh goodness they all went far! At least four hours is a doable drive for visiting. The others made it more difficult! I assume I will get used to it eventually. And who knows, maybe one day I'll make a move to be near her. Thank you so much for the nice comment and for sharing with the party :)

  16. My first party here! Yay! Adding this party to my list. Best of luck to your daughter in her new home, and sending positive thoughts your way for when you are feeling a little down. Thank goodness for technology these days in that we can call, text, face time, etc to help feel like loved ones aren't so far away after all.
