After my announcement on New Year's Eve that I would not be making any resolutions for 2013, I kind of changed my mind. No I didn't decide to go ahead and make a bunch of resolutions that I couldn't possibly keep, but to rather to make a list of things I would like to accomplish in the coming year, a.k.a. a bucket list.
Starting Sunday evening I will be co-hosting the "I Love my Online Friends 'GFC' Blog Hop" which is hosted by Tami from The Things We Find Inside!! . ,
And next week I'm reopening my "Happy Mail Party" which was previously derailed, but I've made some improvements to the details AND I now have a co-host!! ~ Leah from Lovely Life of Leah!! is now in on this super-fun, winter-boredom-buster activity! More info to come soon!
I'm excited to see what you all have to link up this weekend, and I hope you'll consider signing up for my "Happy Mail Party" which I know a few of you were interested in before. I'll send out a little note when everything is open so you don't miss a beat!
I then went one step further and decided that if I created a list that was not only functional, but pretty to look at too, it would be more of an inspiration rather than a boring to-do list that I would end up tossing in the trash after a few weeks.
Next I wrote down 10 things that I would like to accomplish/work on this coming year, rather than just the winter. I then created a pretty digital layout, and added my 10 bucket list items.
I'm super excited with the way it turned out, and am hoping that this will help to inspire me to follow through with some, if not everything on my list.
What I plan to do is to print it out, put it in a pretty frame, and display it somewhere in my home that I spend a lot of my time.
Has anyone else created a bucket list for
themselves rather than traditional resolutions?
What do you think of this idea?
I'm hoping it will work for me :)
If you'd like to create your own pretty bucket list I am giving away a free download for a blank copy of my bucket list. Just click on the link below the image down below, and then you can just print it out and fill it in, or if you'd prefer you could open it in your photo editing software and type in your list that way.
Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteIt's a great idea to have it displayed so your goals aren't forgotten. Awesome print out, thankyou :) I would love to watch more movies too :)

ReplyDeleteGMTA! I called mine a Bucket List too. :) Snapped photos of the things I wanted to accomplish in my house (then posted via social media to the world!) and printed them so I while hiding behind closed doors they are still on my bulletin board & on my mind. :) Here's the post: http://wp.me/p2R2F1-fr ~ Dee @deeconstructed.com
